Common questions

Which tax year does it use?

The app shows the tax year it's calculating for. Rates and allowances are updated each April.

Does it cover Scotland?

Scottish income tax bands differ from the rest of the UK. Check the app's settings for the region option.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. See the privacy policy.

Can it file my tax return?

No. TaxIQ UK gives estimates to help you plan. Filing is done through HMRC.

How do I restore a purchase?

Use Restore Purchases in the app's settings, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with.
