Privacy policy
TaxIQ UK privacy policy
Last updated 10 October 2026
TaxIQ UK is made by Paul Graham ("I", "me"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.
The short version
The figures you enter stay on your device. I don't collect them, I can't see them, and I don't sell or share them.
Information you enter
Income, expenses and property details are stored on your iPhone and used only to run calculations in the app. If you use iCloud backup, they may be included in your device backup, which is handled by Apple under its own privacy policy.
Information I collect
I don't run a server for TaxIQ UK and don't collect personal information through the app. There is no account to create.
Purchases
Any in-app purchases are processed by Apple. I receive no payment card details or personal information from Apple about you.
Analytics and crash reports
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may give me anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These don't identify you.
Children
The app isn't aimed at children and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone.
Your rights
Because your data stays on your device, you're in control of it: deleting the app deletes its data. If you have a question about your rights under UK data protection law, email me.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
